Prepared ranking of the best films of the past 30 years.
The London critics were rating the best movie in the past 30 years, reported The Guardian.
The list compiled in honor of the 30-year anniversary of the cinema Mug London Film Critics. Best movie three decades, critics have recognized the drama by Francis Ford Coppola’s “Apocalypse Now”.
“The grand Coppola’s film - a worthy winner. His anti-war ideas, monumental me acting and stunning film technology withstood the test of time, and he was just as important for critics, like 30 years ago, when he was named best film, “- said the head of Mug critics Jason Solomons.
In second place was another anti-war film - “Schindler’s List” by Steven Spielberg. Ranked third with “The Lives of Others” von Donnersmarck.
In the top ten is also Taiwanese and Italian films, but there is no Soviet or Russian.
Thirty awards to mug the London Film Critics Circle will be held Feb. 18, 2010.
Note that their list of the best films - not the first time in recent months: in November, Times and Telegraph published their top 100 films of the decade. Also, recently compiled a list of the best Arthouse for 10 years.
